Tyler has a diverse background with experience across investing and corporate finance roles. Before joining Providence, Tyler spent several years at Crestline Investors, a Fort Worth-based private credit firm, where he focused on underwriting and executing new investments across the firm’s direct lending and opportunistic credit strategies, in addition to managing existing portfolio companies. Prior to Crestline, Tyler worked in the Corporate Finance & Restructuring group at FTI Consulting, where he supported both debtor- and creditor-side engagements and performed buy- and sell-side due diligence across a broad range of industries. He began his career at J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank, where he participated in portfolio management for high-net-worth individuals and institutions, covering equity, fixed income, and alternative investments.
Tyler earned a BBA in Finance and Accounting and a Master’s in Accountancy from Baylor University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Tyler grew up in North Richland Hills, Texas, and is married with two children. He enjoys football, hockey, golf, and spending time in the mountains.
